The mobile application enables be them report their current location as soon as they moved from one place to another. The Beacon app implements the concept of “voluntary check-in” by users for location reporting.

The Beacon security administration dashboard which is the desktop companion enables security officers of your organization to act promptly when there is a security emergency at any region where your people are located by triggering “Safety Status Check”, which will send alerts to the phones of those who are within a specified perimeter of the incident position.

Once a person receives the Safety Status Check alert, he or she will be prompted to report his or her safety status by pressing one of the safety response buttons that indicate, “Safe”, “Unpredictable” or “Not safe”. The security office will be able to know the safety statistics for the region from the dashboard. The application functions in both internet and SMS mode, therefore, even in the absence of internet access your people will be able to report on their safety status, report an incidence or request for urgent help.

A user will be able to see other members of his or her organization at nearby locations, and will also be able to communicate with them. When a user sends request for help, an alert is sent to the security office and all nearby people. They will be able to locate the exact location of the staff making the distress call, and reach out to him or her for assistance.

A person may also report an incidence that may not pose a security threat to him or her directly, but to warn other people who may be heading in the direction. Such warning is sent as alert to all the members of your organization.
